My name is Miranda and I'm 12 years old. I used oil paint on canvas in this piece. It was actually my first oil painting. It's about 9x12 inches. I found it difficult to actually draw the rose in the first place. I most satisfied with the shading, because before that, I wasn't that great at shading. I learned how to use oil paint appropriately by doing this painting. Cherries in the Summer
