Congratulations on your good score! And congratulations on a great sketch! When I draw, I often look at a picture for reference, but I think you drew this one without any reference at all. It is so well done! The shades of grey and contrasting darker areas bring depth to the picture, and the person on the tree is good too. One of the things I like best about this drawing is that it seems to tell a story -- the person on the tree is watching for something or looking for something. Another ship? A coming storm? A friend? Nicely done!
