You did a great job with the two different scenes. I can tell the storm has caused a lot of damage in the first scene, but in the second the children are just enjoying the rain. I like the different perspective you used in both of them -- in the stormy scene, the people are facing away from us, and in the other they are facing forward. It makes me think they are inviting me to join them.
