It’s time to show us how creative you are! You can win prizes and ribbons and see your art on display at the Yamhill Lavender Festival, brought to you by Yamhelas Community Resource Center (YCRC), on July 14th and 15th at Beulah Park in Yamhill, Oregon.

Information on the Yamhill Lavender Festival can be found on the website. We encourage each child to bring friends and family to see their special creations on display.


1. Submit an original work of art, based on this year’s theme, “Celebrating the Bloom”.

2. Age Categories:


*1st -3rd grades

*4th-6th grades

*7th-9th grades

*10th-12th grades

3. You may use unframed paper or canvas between 5”x7” and 12”x 18”.

All entries will be on display at the Yamhill Lavender Festival.

4. Art will be judged on originality, content, design, appeal, technique, and craftsmanship.

5. Please mail entry(one per child), registration and $5 (checks to YCRC) to:

6. All entries will be eligible for ribbons and/or prizes. Judging will take place at 1pm on Saturday July 14th. Awards, ribbons, and prizes will be awarded at the Yamhill LavenderFestival after 2pm. Prizes/awards will be mailed if not picked up at the festival. Artwork will not be returned via mail. This is a special community project and fundraiser for our nonprofit organization.
